Automatic Tracking

TypeSpan automatically tracks time for each glyph and master while you design in Glyphs. No buttons. No manual input. When you are not using Glyphs, TypeSpan automatically pauses tracking. This keeps your tracking data accurate without interrupting your workflow.

Real-time Display

View your tracking metrics directly in the Glyphs editor. You can see total font time, per-master time, and per-glyph time. Customize the timer layout, position, and display size to fit your workspace.

Interactive Web Reports

Export reports from Glyphs and open them in your browser. Filter by color, export status, Unicode block, or date range. View daily work patterns, master distribution, and glyph-level effort. Pro users can share permanent report links with team members or clients.

Privacy First

Your glyph designs and full font files are never used or shared. TypeSpan tracking data is stored only in your .glyphs file. When exporting reports, only the tracking data needed for the report is uploaded. You can customize what appears in the report through export settings. Reports expire one hour after export unless you choose to share them.
